Our Approach
We like the name Gently Organized because that's how we treat our clients. Our job is to listen to your concerns, identify your needs, and respond in a supportive, cheerful, and non-judgmental way.
We follow the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Professional Organizers, which states, "We serve our clients with integrity, competence, and objectivity, and will treat them with respect and courtesy." Gently Organized provides ideas, information, structure, solutions, and systems that can increase productivity, reduce stress, and give you more control over your time, your surroundings, and your daily life.

The Team
Judy
After years of free organizing for friends, family, and office mates, Judy Parkins founded Gently Organized in 2003. An organizer at heart, from a young age Judy found comfort in cleaning out drawers and organizing closets. Years later, she still finds it great fun to organize, and often has colleagues drop into her office to check out her file drawers and overhead cubbies.
Judy has a B.A. from Antioch University in Yellow Springs, OH and an MS from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA.
Judy is a member of the board of directors of the Washington, D.C., chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers.
Dianna
Dianna is one of the best all-around organizers you will find with a specialty in electronic organizing. Dianna has a design background which she uses to help clients with unique organizing needs. Dianna's ability to listen and connect with clients is invaluable. She is also fluent in Spanish.

Cynthia
Cynthia is an excellent home and office organizer with specialty expertise in paper, closets and kitchens. Cynthia also has a great sense of style and color. You will often find Cynthia leading a team of organizers for our large home and office organizing jobs.

Jean
Jean's expertise is in home organizing. Kitchens, garages, kids's rooms, attics, closets, basements — you name it and Jean can organize it. Jean also has a great sense of humor that makes organizing fun.
Kate
Kate's expertise is in home organizing, especially kitchens and closets. Kate is an energetic, personable and efficient organizer, and is very creative in finding new ways to solve organizing dilemmas.
